Pyramisa Suites Hotel Cairo

Good bed and nice pool. New gym available. Good location for getting taxis. Restaurant food in reception was decent. I have seen other reviews of people complaining about smell of smoke in the lobby, I don’t think is true but you can smoke cigarettes and shisha in the lobby, this is just the culture here and shisha is good price.

My first impression when I walked in was that it looked beautiful. The staff at reception didn't smile. I didn't feel welcomed at the point. As my room was assigned, I was taken to my room. It was the 2 bedroom suite, and it looked as if no one had stayed there a while. It was dusty. However, the room was perfect in size. Before we could settle into the room, the house keeping Manager knocked on and said we have another room if you would like to view this as that room had just been freshly cleaned. I took that option. It was still a 2 bedroom suite. Throughout my stay, they asked me if I needed i thing, so spot on with the help available. The grey waistcoat male workers near the front of are very helpful and honest. I spoke to several and are happy to help. My last night I was feeling poorly and they went out of their way to call the 24 hour pharmacy and got me medication which was delivered to my room. Breakfast was buffet, plenty of choice available. Evening meal if you have picked half board is a buffet when a lot of guests have put it as a choice otherwise you will get choices given to you for the meal.

Nice and active place

I would recommend this hotel because the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean and spacious with clean towels and gel and toothpaste etc all provided. The hotel was quiet at night, no noise from quests banging doors or chatting loudly. Room was cleaned daily with tea and water refilled. Kettle in the room with tea and sugar. The location is excellent, 10 mins walk to metro, 5 mins to supermarkets and about 15 mins walk to tahir square. Breakfast was varied, eggs cooked to order, pastries, cereals , juices all plentiful. I'd stay here again.
